Step Up for Kids

Do the new census figures reflecting that one child in five in Nebraska struggles with poverty worry you?

Have you followed recent child welfare system developments with concern?

Do you think that access to prenatal care should be available to all who need it to protect the health of mothers and babies?

The newspaper headlines in our state have been dreary as of late – leaving many of us frustrated.  It’s clear that now, more than ever, Nebraska kids need a voice.

It’s time to channel that energy into something positive!  Join Nebraska Appleseed and A.S.K., Behaven Kids, Boys Town, Building Bright Futures, KVC, NAMI-Nebraska, NASW-Nebraska Chapter, Nebraska Families Collaborative Nebraska Family Support Network, and Voices for Children in Nebraska for the STEP UP FOR KIDS 2011 event featuring Tom Osborne.
