This online form allows you to request information and assistance from Nebraska Appleseed. It should take between 5 and 10 minutes to complete. Any information you provide on this form will be kept confidential.

Our services most often include referrals, legal information, and supportive advice. Because our litigation is focused on systemic issues (issues affecting many Nebraskans at once), Nebraska Appleseed does not typically handle individual representation cases. Examples of cases we do not handle ourselves include criminal cases, divorce and custody matters, discrimination complaints, bankruptcy, landlord-tenant disputes, and social security appeals.

We will respond to all requests for assistance. However, completing an application and receiving an email or phone call from us does not create an attorney-client relationship. If we do not have the expertise to assist with your case, we will attempt to provide you with referrals to the person or organization that can best help you.

The application process:

  1. Complete and submit the application. This application requires an email address – get a FREE email account from Gmail
  2. After you submit your application, you should receive an email right away to confirm we received it. The email will include a copy of your application for your records.
  3. If we can offer you assistance, we will schedule a call to discuss your issue further. The call will be scheduled for a day and time you selected on the application, and we will notify you of the date and time via email.
  4. If we cannot assist you, we will send you an email with referrals to places that may be able to help you further.
