Throughout October, we’ve been celebrating the honorees of our 2021 Good Apple Awards, Appleseed’s annual fundraiser recognizing community advocates who are building a more just, vibrant, and inclusive Nebraska.
This year’s honorees include: Danelle Smith, Sen. John McCollister, Sen. Terrell McKinney, and the law firms of DLA Piper and Rosen Bien Galvan Grunfeld. They represent what’s possible when Nebraskans step forward to tackle our toughest problems in the spirit of building community, working collaboratively, and persistently pursuing justice and positive change.
We’ve been thrilled to recognize this year’s honorees who have fought discrimination, ensured access to health care, food, and work, engaged people in exercising their right to vote, and improved conditions for people in prison.
We invite you to check out our special video and spotlight blogs about this year’s honorees.
We also set a goal to raise $25,000 in absence of holding the Good Apple Awards in-person. With support from many of you and our 2021 Good Apple Award Sponsors, we exceeded our goal and raised $39,645! Thank you for your support and for helping to uplift this year’s honorees.
There’s still time for you to join our Good Apple supporters!
