It’s not every day that your cup of coffee can support justice for all, but it can during the month of June!
Appleseed is excited to renew our community partnership throughout the month of June with our friends at the Urban Abbey, a non-profit coffee shop, bookstore, and faith community in Omaha’s Old Market (1026 Jackson St).
Stop in and grab a cup of coffee or bag of coffee beans and your purchase will support Appleseed’s fight for justice and opportunity for all!
Here’s how it works: Each month, Urban Abbey selects a nonprofit partner who receives 10% of all coffee bar sales and 100% of sales of the “Urban Abbey Blend” of whole bean coffee. Beansmith donates these bags of whole beans each month.
Last year, the Urban Abbey generously donated more than $1,300 to Appleseed thanks to this great partnership! Over the past three years, they’ve donated an incredible $43,000 to Nebraska nonprofits.
Throughout the month of June, I invite you to join us for some exciting events at Urban Abbey, including one this Thursday:
