Starting October 1, 2013, nearly 200,000 Nebraskans will able to access a new health insurance Marketplace, which will provide a one-stop shop for consumers to compare and choose from various health care options, take advantage of available tax credits, or seek Medicaid coverage. This new Marketplace is a major component of health care reform, also known as the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
Organizations across Nebraska plan to raise awareness about the new health insurance Marketplace and enroll Nebraskans in the affordable health care options the Marketplace provides. To more effectively inform and enroll Nebraskans, many organizations have joined to create Enroll Nebraska. Enroll Nebraska is a collaborative effort aimed at providing tools and resources for organizations that plan to inform Nebraskans about the new options available for health insurance coverage.
We hope to see you Thursday morning at Urban Abbey!
