Help us welcome Jodi Lepaopao (she/her/hers) to the Appleseed Team! Jodi joined Nebraska Appleseed in October 2023 as a Campaigns Organizer working on the Paid Sick Leave ballot initiative. In this role, she supports and coordinates the grassroots advocates and volunteers engaged with ballot initiative campaigns.
Prior to joining Appleseed, Jodi operated as a Field Organizer at Landslide Political where she discovered her passion for campaign work and advocacy. And it is that passion that has led her to her role today.
Raised as a first-generation American in Omaha, Nebraska, she brings a holistic awareness of the diverse cultural communities unique to the Midwest. Outside of her campaign work, Jodi enjoys spending time with her partner, her family and her two kittens: Tator & Zuko.
