A small group of state senators is blocking a vote on a bill in the Legislature that would adopt the Affordable Care Act’s new Medicaid program (LB 577). This bill will help our working families get access to health care and boost our state’s economy. Today is your chance to tell them we don’t want the politics of obstruction here in our state.

LB 577 would help 54,000 uninsured, working Nebraskans get access to health care. It would provide security to our rural hospitals, our working families, and our veterans. It is beneficial to our economy, returning $2.3 billion to our state. And it would save an estimated 500 lives every year.
