Are you passionate about health care and making change in your community?
Nebraska Appleseed’s Health Care Access team has just launched applications for our 9-month Health Care Community Advocates Cohort! If you have ever struggled to access health care for yourself or your family, this cohort is a paid opportunity to build your storytelling and advocacy skills. No prior advocacy experience is necessary.
Through this experience, cohort members learn:
- How to tell your story
- How to engage with the media
- How to make change
- How to grow the movement
