At Appleseed, we believe justice isn’t just for some of us. It’s for all of us.
Whether we’re in the courthouse, at the statehouse, or in the community we don’t stop working for justice and opportunity for all.
I invite you to join us in our efforts and make a donation to Appleseed this Thursday, May 16 on Give to Lincoln Day.
Your gift will be matched and help Appleseed receive a share of a $200,000 challenge match pool!
This Thursday, the Lincoln Community Foundation will host Give to Lincoln Day, a 24-hour period to encourage people to donate to nonprofit organizations serving the Lincoln area.
Whether you can give $10 or $100 your gift will enhance our fight for justice and opportunity for all!
Here is all you have to do:
Between 12:00am and 11:59pm on May 16, visit Nebraska Appleseed’s Give to Lincoln Day webpage
Share the link with a friend!
Here is how your gift will be amplified:
Nebraska Appleseed will receive your gift plus a proportional share of the $200,000 match pool. If Appleseed raises just 1% of all nonprofit donations made on May 16, Appleseed would receive an additional $2,000 from the Lincoln Community Foundation.
The top five nonprofits with the most donors on May 16 will receive bonus gifts of $1,000! Additionally, ten random donors throughout the day will have a bonus $200 added to her or his gift. Finally, the three nonprofits that receive the most online donors between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. will each be awarded $1,000 bonus grants.
Last year, Appleseed raised over $14,000 and we hope we can increase that this year!
Don’t want to wait? Schedule your donation TODAY!
Visit Appleseed’s Give to Lincoln Day page and select “On a Giving Day” under the “Make This Donation Occur” dropdown. There, you can schedule your donation to automatically occur on May 16!
Your gift will have an enormous impact on Appleseed’s ability to fight for justice and opportunity for all.
Thank you for considering this great matching opportunity!
I hope you will join me in making a donation to Appleseed on Give to Lincoln Day!
