The Nebraska Legislature is in session, and Nebraska Appleseed is partnering with the Center for Rural Affairs and Community Action of Nebraska to make sure you know about proposed legislation that impacts hard-working, low-income Nebraskans. We need you to stand up for affordable health care, small businesses and fair taxes in our state!

- How to advance your views and persuade policymakers and others with effective lobbying.
- How to work with the media to tell your story.
- About key issues in the Nebraska unicameral that impact you.
- The definition of “lobbying” and restrictions on governmental and non-profit organizations.
With a core group of active leaders, we can build momentum and create policy that benefits all Nebraskans.
