On October 8, Nebraska Appleseed will gather to celebrate the outstanding contributions of individuals and organizations who have stood up for justice and opportunity for all during the 2026 Good Apple Awards. We are proud to recognize this year’s honorees.
The Jim Wolf Equal Justice Award recognizes Nebraskans who have made significant contributions to justice for all throughout their career. They have devoted themselves to public service to benefit the common good, and responded to adversarial and difficult circumstances facing others.
“Terry has played a critical role in helping Nebraska Appleseed become the organization we are today. Early in his time on the Board he stepped into the Board President role and guided the organization through early growing pains. He recruited many people to get involved as Board members, donors, and supporters and ensured we had the policies and practices we needed to achieve our mission. He has been a steadfast ambassador for Appleseed and our work for almost 30 years and we are so grateful for his partnership in the fight for justice and opportunity for all Nebraskans.” – Becky Gould, Executive Director
