Call to action

TAKE ACTION: Congress is letting health care costs skyrocket for Nebraskans – tell them to make it right!

Despite your tireless advocacy last year, Congress failed to extend the enhanced tax credits that help over 100,000 Nebraskans afford their health care through the Marketplace. This means many Nebraskans are now paying far more for their premiums, opting for worse coverage with higher out-of-pocket costs, or are now going without insurance because of the skyrocketing costs. But the fight isn’t over – Congress can still act now to make sure health care is affordable for Nebraskans.

Keep health care affordable for people like Barb

Congress is back in session, and the House could begin voting as soon as tomorrow on another attempt to renew these enhanced tax credits for three years. Without this extension, an additional 3.8 million people across the country will become unsinured each year, including tens of thousands of Nebraskans.

We have another opportunity to reach out to our Nebraska members of Congress and demand they act NOW to keep health care affordable for Nebraskans.

Thank you for your continued advocacy!
