For 60 years, Medicaid has been a lifeline for Nebraskans—providing essential health care to children, families, seniors, and people with disabilities. But today, that care is under threat. Politicians rushed through harmful federal legislation that slashes Medicaid funding, blocks care at trusted providers like Planned Parenthood, and strips coverage from those who need it most.
We’ll gather in celebration of what Medicaid has made possible, and we’ll strategize on how to defend and strengthen our access to care for the next 60 years. Expect inspiring stories, opportunities to take action, and ways to connect with others who believe health care is a human right. Let’s honor Medicaid’s past and fight for our future, together.
