✅ LB192, Senator Quick’s SNAP Eligibility bill, will be debated on general file by Nebraska senators as early as TODAY. We need your help to encourage them to vote YES to move this bill forward!
This bill would:
- Maintain Nebraska current SNAP’s income eligibility level (which would go down significantly this October without action);
- Continue to reduce the SNAP benefits cliff, which happens when people take a small raise at work and lose a disproportionate amount of benefits; and
- Not force 10,000 Nebraskans off of SNAP benefits if the income level is allowed to go down.
Maintaining our SNAP eligibility level would cost the state nothing! Continuing this program just makes sense and we need you to make sure your senator knows it.

SNAP is great! It helps people get the food they need when times are tough. It’s a temporary support for families that also supports grocery stores, farmers, and local economies.
Thank you for all you do to support food security in Nebraska,
