For everyone to have access to the good life, we must ensure that Nebraska workers are paid a living wage. That’s why the minimum wage increase passed overwhelmingly on the ballot — and why we must now all fight to protect it.
❌ LB258 (Sen. Jane Raybould) would harm workers by severely weakening Nebraska’s minimum wage law through carving out a subminimum wage for workers under the age of 20 AND restricting the cost of living increases that Nebraskans voted for.
This bill is up for debate early next week.
Contact your senator now and tell them to OPPOSE LB258:

When Nebraskans went to the ballot box in 2022, we voted to gradually raise our state’s minimum wage to $15 per hour by January 2026 — and to automatically adjust it for cost of living increases starting in 2027.
❌ LB258 is NOT what we voted for. We want a minimum wage that values our labor – regardless of age – AND ensures that Nebraska wages do not once again fall behind cost of living increases.
Thank you for standing up for working Nebraskans!
