Last week, Governor Pillen called a special legislative session to drastically change tax policy in Nebraska. Bill introductions began last Thursday and wrapped up this morning, and public hearings began TODAY.
We are concerned about proposed legislation that would create new taxes on everyday goods and services. We are also concerned about drastic budget cuts which would significantly impact our state’s ability to serve communities throughout Nebraska.
